Here are a few shots on my new plane for this year. It is my own design and it is the 4th one. This one is completely my own from the airfoils to the numbers. it is a little smaller then the previous ones and has a thin airfoil. The paint scheme is a from Sina and required a lot of masking!
It is of course electric (hence the name)
Motor - Cobra 3515
Battery - 6s Thunder power 2800mahs
ESC - Jeti Spin 66
Timer - Rogerio active timer
Prop - Igor 12X5
650 squares and weighs 61oz
Maiden flights were this past weekend and it shows some promise. I was able to put in 12 patterns with it and I have to tell you having an adjustable flap horn is the greatest thing ever! (thanks Paul)
Now the big decision which one do I fly at the NATS? Last years or the New one???

Joe,
Beautiful job....that came out very nice.
Paint scheme is terrific, but I was wondering if you learned any
new cuss words during the masking steps !!!! <g>
Cheers.

A very nice airplane! The elevators sure look big! What is the reasoning behind them?

There were a few! in fact at one point the plane almost didn't make it!!!

Crist - They are a little bigger then the last one. Here is my reasoning and there is no engineering behind this at all! I wanted to be able to run the CG more forward than the last plane and still have the same elevator response. So far I think it worked because the CG is further forward and I have the elevator response I wanted.
Thanks
