After some 6 months as a side project iīve finished the Hellcat
Bought a "short kit" by a friend in Brazil, without the plans, only ribs, formers and fuse sides.
I have started to build using the wingspan as a reference and fuse sides with formers position, but fortunately our friend Chris Cox came to rescue me with the original Kaz sketches of the model.
I have modified a few things and changed the building method to better align the fuselage, bit this is well documented on the building log here https://stunthanger.com/smf/building-techniques/kaz-minato-hellcat-62687/msg657986/#ne
Plane is e-powered and final weight with battery is 1890 grams/ 66,6 oz
wings are fully sheeted and flying surfaces covered with silkspan, fuse covered with carbon veil
automotive paint and 2 part satin clear coat

flyes with no hunting and performs great as a Kaz Minato plane is expect to!
as far as o know this plane was based on the proven Blue Max, so i am absolutely pleased with the outcome

will be my F2B for this 2023 season
now letīs finish the other projects laying around
