Any or all of the above. Really, the McCoy Redhead was a great sport engine in its day when people did not worry about noise. Had to make sure you had good castor based fuel and not run it lean. I still have my first McCoy 35 Redhead that cost $10.00. Needs 3-in-1 oil and several drops of fuel to get it started. But, its been over twenty years since last started. Also it is hard to find decent muffler for them. Pretty engines to look at tho. Later, DOC Holliday

If you fly OTS, I'd keep it for that. If you collect old engines as I do, keep it. If not, you should be able to get a pretty good price for it on the-bay. If you have the box, card, and decal, it will help. Good luck with your decision!

Best route for silencing a McCoy is to find a Merco silencer - they also fit K&B Torpedo and Stallion/Veco/ST/some OS Max's as well as the Merco.
I've also managed to fit a Fox 35 silencer by filing the lugs on the silencer a bit - however if you are running a silencer the high oil content matters as they will run hotter.
