Indeed it does. Takes awhile to download is all.

I noticed that the elevators are without a fairing to the fuselage and quite  long elevator horn connector wires would be needed. Is there a reason for this?

I would want to keep the iron in the back end at a minimum is all. I've also wondered when somebody would design light weight CF control horns to eliminate the old wire designs from the 1950's. I don't think it's impossible, at least.  H^^ Steve

Nice looking plane ...

I noticed the 1 in. offset in the wing .....and ...  I also noticed the 1/2 inch offset in the  stab. span.

The gap between the outer elevator and the fuselage provides space for the adjustable rudder pushrod.

Here are the mechanical detail drawings for Replica 23:

Dimensions are in metric millimeters. Divide by 25.4 to get inches

Hello, Peter!  Very nice design, a bit “out of the box”, I like it!  Could you tell me what airfoil you are using?  Thank you…

Thanks for asking, Bill.
Root profile is symmetric with max. thickness (with flaps) of 20% at 28% depth and a blunt nose radius of approx. 1 mm or 1. 2 in.
Tip thickness is 16%

My German isn't adequate to figure out which .pdf files to open, so that didn't go well!

When I worked (machinist), I much preferred to multiply millimeters by .03937 to convert to inches. Gets the same answer, but it sort of reinforces the fact that 1mm is awful close to .040". I converted metric drawings enough that the .03937 is something I'll never forget...at least until I can't remember my own name.

The last time we had a push to adopt the metric system was in the early 1980's, and while I was in favor of it, industry here quashed it as too costly. I was working at Boeing at the time. If it came up now, I'm pretty sure the political machine in Washington DC would write a law and jam it through anyway. And probably make it a criminal offense to use inches or mph.  R%%%% Steve
