Sig shipments
« on: July 24, 2010, 07:47:17 PM »
Just a quick note. Several of our local Hobie shops have said they can not get shipments from Sig. Well the same items they can not get I ordered direct from Sig on Monday and Friday when I got home from the flying field there was my order on the front porch. Sig has been getting some bad press locally but I can only thank them for their prompt and courteous service.

My LHS owner runs on New York City time; any order that takes longer than 24 hours to get processed drives him up the wall (and has him apologizing profusely).  So when Sig takes several days to get around to his order, it bugs him.

Yours may be the same.

(note: I ain't criticizing any one here, just stating facts as I see them).

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

I deal with a small hobby shop and he said Sig uped the minimum $ amount for a order to be shipped. He said some times it takes a while to meet the $$ amount before he can even place the order. An individual order is different
