New plane new build. This is the plane I've been learning to build and scratch build on.
-
Which design is that?

Look Great!!!! What engine are you going to use?
You might want to take that bend out of the rudder.
Do you fly in the other direction?
-
I see someone else caught the rudder angle. Looks like you are listening and doing. H^^

It's a combination of these two planes (modified TF Tutor and a more modded TFT). He is using an LA 46 and the rudder is the wrong way because it will be adjustable and that just happens to be how it's hanging on.

Thanks for clearing up the rudder question. That will work.
Is that a scaled up Tutor? Can't go wrong with those blue engines but a lot of engine for the smaller Tutor.
IMHO. H^^

That looks great Andrew! My first couple of builds didn't turn out near that good, i look back at a few of my first planes (Ringmaster, Twister) and think why would i have done it that way?
-
Thank you Ray. Its turning out awesome thanks to a great builder and teacher. Learned allot of new tricks during this build.

Here's the latest.

Looks great, you seem to be getting good help. Say hello and thanks to Mike.

Had its maiden flight yesterday . Made adjustments two times and Flies great!!! Very solid and stable flying plane. Cant wait to learn and get real confident in flyin the whole pattern. Mike from My club ( SKYLINERS) took it up for the maiden flight. Had a big smile on his face.

Mike,
Did you publish a design called the Eliminator? It was a windy weather airplane with an OS 25VF in it? I almost built one of those.

Yes, I did. The wing in Andrews plane is the same wing as the Eliminator. Just in the same nose to tail ratio as a Tutor. But then, so was the Eliminator. Probably far from the best setup but I always liked it because of it's stability.

Eliminator, great model.

Guess I'm old fashioned, but I never understood why some folks will go to all the fuss to add an inboard tripler on a profile and not tie it into the wing???????????????
