New pilot in Portland!

Looks like another Jr. is on his way. Today Art's grandson Spencer got his wings. He only got a taste- a crankshaft failure ended his flying for the day on the 2nd flight, but his 1st flight was awesome. A couple laps with assistance then he flew the rest of the tank out in perfect control, no climb / dive / wobble or panic. Just nice steady level laps at about 12', with a big smile when he landed.

Way to go Spencer - and you should have seen the grin on Grandpa's face!

Like Art, I was very happy when two of my grandsons soloed..........now, only two more to go.
