Yep. My new Force. And my rebuilt Nobler. H^^
What about you Will?

My Thundergazer!! Thanks to the weather and other circumstances, it looks like the maiden flight will occur at the fly-in.
-
My beamer
-
My Enigma-One.
This is my brew of all the latest thinking
in stunter design.
The big motivator was the "World Beater "
article from Control Line World April 2009.

Hmm, can we see a couple pics of this one Bob?

And Alan really means a BIG FLITE STREAK! Can't wait to see it fly,
-
Are the circles that expert flys in smooth enough for a beam wing airplane with wing gear and wheel pants? Also what is the address to the field? For my GPS
-
Wayne go to the All Amped Up forum and look for Electric F105 Thunderchief.
Bob,
Brodak's Fly In GPS location is N 39*52.873'
W 079*57.570'

Robert yes they are. I flew my Juno there.

Robert,
The expert circle has a curved concrete takeoff strip, plenty long , the grass is well maintained , close cut all week, should be no problem ,
The full donut circle that scale and perky uses is open for practice most days too , but not when the circle has a event going
-
And please note that they are "TAKE OFF" pads and not landing strips. I landed on one last year during a practice flight and the plane rolled out the end and where the grass and pad meet is a nice little edge where my wheel pants stopped and the plane kept on going. Ripped my LG off and the wheel pants did a great job of punching two crisp holes in the bottom of my wing. HB~>
Spent that night with a bottle of CA and a roll of clear packaging tape repairing my plane in the hotel room or contest flights the next day.
-
I guess I will bring my Continental XL and Crossfire number 1. I don't want to chance my beamer. Thanks.
-
I just read this on the brochure:
All Scale & Expert will be flown off of asphalt donut
All others will be flown off grass. Have grass gear
This would lead me to believe expert Stunt is on that donut at the top of the hill. Am I wrong?
-
Since I destroyed my fleet earlier this year everything will be new.I have a E-Strega for PA that I have dialed in pretty good for me.I got a profile Sea Hurricane kit off ebay for $42 bucks I am flying in profile and WWII combat.I'm even taking an ARF Bi-Slob I won at a contest last year to put together for some funtime later in the week.Hopefully I can get Mr. Banjock to show me how to drive the thing #^ #^ #^ See ya's there,Trax

If true it could mean a lot more work for the photographers. No easy running back and forth between the expert and advanced circles or doing a quick jog over to the beginner and intermediate circles. Hey, I probably need the exercise anyhow.

Elwyn needs a set of skates or a least steal an official's golf cart. He takes some great photos but is just wore out at the end of the week. He is one of the hardest working guys there.
Good Luck Elwyn.
PS - I hope you get a shot of Yeah Baby going over the top of the circle in a wing over!

The Expert flyers like the better wind conditions of the top of the hill grass circle over the full asphalted donut.

There is probably too much time spent on the computer in the evening which often results in an energy crisis by the following afternoon. As long as I don't spend too much time in a nice slouch-able chair editing photos I should do OK. Will you be flying in Intermediate? I'll try and get you a few pics.

I'm glad to hear you'll be there again Elwyn. I always look forward to seeing your coverage, excellent photos, the closest I can get to being there.
Thanks in advance for whatever you can show us, I'll be staying tuned. y1
