We will be making kits of the Super Combat Streak next,

Eng size: .19-.35
Wing Span: 42"
Wing Area: 390 sq. in

kit price is: $89.99 plus $12.00 Shipping


The Super Combat Streak is a combat model and will NOT include contest balsa.

We have made minor modifications from the original kit to improve the construction of our kit.

Well here's the prototype all taped together, for the pictures, I also left off the single wheel gear and an eng.

okay guys and gals... the Half Fast III kits will be shipping out in the next few days and then it's on to the Combat Streak kits.

Yes I did, sorry but we had a serious problems (sudden crash) with my other (house) computer and had to focus on that.

I always thought that it was Orange White and Black

I agree with Dennis, but it *might* have been red, black, and white like the profile. I never saw a color picture.

I had one in 1972, and I know they were around a good bit before that.

I had one of the originals and painted it as the box. It was orange, black and clear doped silk span.

The orange printed box cover definitely makes me assume orange white and black, but the model is only shown in black and white. I'm thinking when I build mine I'd like to do an authentic cosmetic replica of the original box cover model. The question remains open...

Also, where can I get an exact replica decal, in color, for the wing?

Hi Wayne,

My kit didn't include a decal. I actually never did see that decal on any of them, not to say they weren't around. And I don't know of anyone who would know for sure what the box top plane was painted like. The plans didn't say that I remember (the Ringmaster did), and the box was blk/wht pictures.

I think Bill is right about that. When I was a kid and had it if there was a decal it was on the plane. I know my plane did not have one on it so I don't think there was one in the box.
