New impact XS, Version 2.0
« on: May 02, 2010, 06:47:09 PM »
Sure Paul is cutting edge, and bring back the old styles I say.....

I like it.. But call me old fashioned..

Doesnt this just look RIGHT ??

hehhee ( bit of Howard rush humor )

Lengthen the nose a little for that modern engine.. standard fin, and impact tips! - I left the stab the same.. :)
Ohh also toned down the colour a little, tried to get it closer to the last impact at france. - Loved that colour.

PJ,

You'd have to see it in person. It's really very slick. I like it a lot in the, uh, original configuration.

OK Mr. PJ.....
I'm going to get a picture of a Lancaster, chop off the two vertical tails in the back and replace with a single vertical tail . Then, I will take the "kink" out of the wing, increase the aspect ratio some, change the cockpit to a more streamlined version, paint it silver, and your Lancaster will become a .....

B-17....The way it should be!!!    >:D

PJ,
You forgot to Photoshop the shadow of the wingtip on the ground (it still has the shape of the original wingtip)  n~

ehhehe,

I just thought It would be amusing to see :)

Funny you should mention that Paul, I was thinking of photoshopping that pic and adding 4 engines.. - and "talking up" an electric 4 engine job.

Ok , so it was raining one night, and I was bored, and thought it was fair game to photoshop, no offensive intended.:)

Also I realised after the fact I had missed the shadows DOH!

It was a pain in the butt trying to get that fin looking the other way without butching the paint work.

Looks sweet Paul, take it as flattery on another superb design and paint. - I do like the jet style.   S?P

It's just that Paul wants to copy the look of the Barnstormer in order to woo a comment from Ty ya know!
