To every one here, THANK YOU!

As some of you know, the Little Household has gone through a LOT of relatively minor health issues this year.  Nothing "life threatening" but it all added up.  A LOT of missed work on the part of my wife and me.  It ranged from ruptured discs exactly one year ago to the chance of losing a foot to........

During this time, I was chastised by someone in my PAMPA district for spending too much time here.  As Abe Lincoln once said.........

Those of you that know me, know that I love this hobby and the people in it.  Problem is, I can't *invent* information, at least I won't. 

So for those of you here, I THANK YOU for being friends, and I wish you all the Merriest of Christmases, and the Happiest of NEW YEARS!

Bill: I would personally like to say Thanks to you. I can always count on your input to questions I may ask and it's always sound advise and tips you share.  Unless that person was your wife  that chastized you I'd say it's none of there buisness how you spend your time.

I agree completely.  You-all are doing a bang-up job here.  Lotsa folks getting good benefit from it, besides just enjoying the community.  It's entirely up to you how you allocate your time.  I know all about the nagging health issues.  Probably, considering the average age here, most of us do.  This board is a great stress-reliever for me; hope it is for you as well.  Thank you, Robert, Bill, everyone else involved.

I still feel bad about the cot and tent back at the '93 NATS!  But I thank you for he generousity.

I hope we get to fly together again before we hit that "perfect circle" on the other side where the wind is always a steady 5 mph at your back, and so is the sun!

Thanks, Greg.  I didn't mean for this to turn into a pity party for me.  Some people in PAMPA just think that the Director only writes a column in Stunt News for the District, but they do not send information to be used.  Our District is very spread out, and not a lot of contests, etc., go on in it.  Not starting a "political thread" here, so I'll leave it at that.

As far as I am concerned that is a SICK attitude. I would have thought it would have been much better to express thanks for what you do there, just as we have expressed our thanks for what you do here.

It all came to a head it seems because I "missed" my column this time.  I do have an appology in their.  How this person knows I "missed" it before it has been printed is a MYSTERY to me!  Only me and the Editor knew about that at the time.

My wife's surgery combined with another new way of submitting our work left me out.  Thankfully, Mr McClain has included my appology.

There is MUCH more politics involved in PAMPA than I would have ever thought............. but it has been calmer since Paul took over.  Just my observations........

Guess I should just shut up now!

Bill, sorry to hear someone has decided to take it out on you.  Anybody that steps in and do columns/articles need out praise.  As much as another individual would ramble and keep typing I kind of enjoyed what they had to say.  Even tho I disagreed with some of their stuff I didn't take it out on them.  Anyway before it gets too polical I want to wisy you and your family a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR.  Holliday
