Mike's daughter created a nifty new GSCB web site....
http://circleburners.wix.com/circleburners

Nice site, one thing, in the events section there is no address for the contests. Not everybody (including me) knows where the pool site ect is.

Nifty site!! Glad to see the GSCB's back online with a nice website!
-
The pal park pool site is: 40 50' 52"N 74 00'34.34"W
-
Tom how about the combat site location...jim ;D
-
The combat site? Just follow the ambulances to the pile of bloody bones...
Jim - Its the Lincoln Park GSCB field, 40 54'01.91"N 74 16'43.23"W. If lost, ask for Two Bridges Road, off the end of Passaic Avenue. Godspeed.
-
Need an address not some numbers that don't work in google.
-
Try Bing Maps. Copy and Paste. It works there!
Thanks,
Tom

Followed Two Bridges Road from one end to the other. Found the golf course and a lot of residential areas, but seen nothing that would look like a flying site for control line.
-
Thanks Tom..... ;D
-
Doc - The field is on the same side of Two Bridges road as the golf course, about halfway to the south end of the road at two bridges. The distance from the golf course driveway to the field driveway is about 1300 ft. Neither site has a street address, as no mail is delivered to either place. Motorman can find the Pal Park site by searching 'Palisades Park swimming pool'.
-
Bing worked! It's a paved parking lot just north of where Rt46 crosses Overpeck creek between the baseball fields and the pool.

The new site is fantastic.

With a new website like that; it's easy to predict that there will be interest and new members. y1

I agree but please put directions to the flying sites on there.

Nice Website!!
Just one minor point. When I checked the schedule I see that you have Sunday on the right hand column rather than on the left as is usual for US calendars. A bit confusing for US viewers accustomed to seeing Sunday on the left (first day of the week). ;D
