"" Bill I got my Enya engine and have run it and so far am quit satisfied. Seems to have good power, starts easy but does need a little more breakin time than I gave it so far. Runs a little rough an sure that will improve with age. a very well made engine as per En ya quality. My test report so far. ""
Leo,
Thought this deserved a thread of it's own. Hope you don't mind?
Glad you like your new Enya.
I've had a few of them over the years, and was very impressed with the quality and reliability.
My first R/C trainer got a used Enya .40TV very early on, when I had no luck keeping the original engine (an early model Thunder Tiger .40), running well enough to finish my flying lessons. Dorked that trainer into the ground I don't know how many times, and only had to dig the dirt out of the carb intake, and flush it with fuel, to get it running again! The Enya was still running great, when I moved on to better airplanes.
Did almost exactly the same thing with an OS .40SF some years later, and had to buy a new crank case, because the carb separated from the engine, with some of the case still attached.

You going to the Delta Park field tomorrow? I may try to make it out there, if we are not baby sitting again.
Bill
