Looks interesting, but I don't know anything about that one.

I do have one of these...

The new K77 developed and offered by Kaz Minato.  I have the first one of the production lot and have run it on the bench only.  Will get it in a Trivial Pursuit in a couple of months.  Promises to be a great engine!

Very easy handling engine that make a lot of power.  Ran 6 tanks of fuel through it on the bench and it started 1st flip every time...No kidding!

It is available now.

I've not seen that motor before now.  It's interesting how taaaallllll that thing is!  Lllooonnnggg stroke.  Bet the head is on backwards.  Wouldn't want to pull the glow driver off it.  Might be interesting to know more about.

Yeah, and there also doesn't seem to be much room under that muffler for a tank!

The only person I know who flies well with Skif 9,5cc is Albert Garfutdinov from Russia. And of course Strakhov who builds them. But I've only seen ones with square cylinder, have to ask Albert what this is exactly.
But it runs well and sound is really nice.
It's special because of Scnuerle scavenging and that it needs a prop with lots of pitch, like 8...9"
Looking at the pictures, it seems to have a ringed piston but I'm not 100% sure, I'm waiting for Alberts reply.

Ward-O, you're looking at Randy's pictures of his K-77, I think. 

This should be the link to the eBay postings on the Skif 9.5cc. You do have to scroll down to see the pictures with the ugly blue spinner. I don't understand what they think is so sexy about those bulbous spinners. Even the FAI regs don't require the spinner be quite that disgusting.  Steve

I apologize for confusing the issue with pictures of the K77.  I really didn't consider the original engine shown here as a serious contender new or not.  It's very limited production and Parts???...

So I thought I would show a NEW engine that is a serious production engine developed by by a good flier and real gentleman and built in a real production facility.  The engines are made in the Stalker facility to Kaz Minato's specification!

I was just trying to give them a plug and let everyone know that it would appear that a new first class serious stunt engine has just appeared.

I probably should have started a new thread to do it...it just seemed convienent to do it here.  Old guys tend to be lazy I guess!

Wardo,  I do think if you read the post carefully it is obvious that this is not the same engine as the one in the original post!

That's an older version of Skif, the later and more succesfull is the one with square cylinder. ABC, no ring.
Personally I find Strakhov's stuff interesting only because of Schnürle scavenging, I wouldn't mind doing some spying.
But I wouldn't pay $275. L
