New engine from Brodak
« on: March 14, 2011, 05:53:37 PM »
Here is the throttle version of the excellent Brodak 15.
I am presently evaluating it and writing the supplemental operating instructions.

It should be perfect for 15 Carrier or RC Sport.

Contact Brodak for price and availability.

If nothing else he expanded his market by at least 200%. RC people are pretty loose with a wallet and llike to try new toys.

Nice. y1 Maybe I'm thinking of something else, but weren't they working on one larger than the .40 too?

How about a pressurized muffler for the 40?

Naw, keep the .40 as is - the "do it yourself" pressure tap allows you to place it in the optimum place for the specific model it is installed in. Might be tempted to give .15 carrier a try with that motor.  8)

Yeah Garf, you can just add your own tap to the muffler. Du-Bro makes 'em, hobby shops have 'em. Many times it's actually nicer to do it that way because you can pick exactly where you want to put it. Especially nice benefit if cosmetics are a concern. I put taps on most of my tongue mufflers this way.

From a teaser above...... wasn't John going to try and make a Stunt .60-.61?

The .15 R/C looks nice.
