Title: New clear

While John was visiting last weekend, he mentioned a new clear dope....Chrystal Clear.....apparently it is a clear that is the basis for all the dope that he is mixing.
John reports that it is what he used on his Shoestring....

Appears to be neat stuff....a bit more expensive than regular clear.............

I presume its a low shrink?

Is it more fuel proof than regular?

It's just like the normal butrate clear cept it doesn't have the yellow tint, won't hold up to 20% nitro but is OK with 10%. Have it on my Latency with a Saito running 20% nitro.. Have to make sure I get any raw fuel wiped off pretty quick but even if I mess up it rubs out pretty easy.

You had me worried there, Rich.  From the title, I thought you had gone newclear, which would be even scarier than N. Korea or Iran.

John Brodak, and it is the Brodak type of clear.
