Title: New Build
Post by: James Mills on May 03, 2013, 04:22:18 PM
I didn't build it, but I am paying for it #^.  I know there is titanium in there, not sure what else.

I hope to have some real build pics to post in a couple of days, starting to get a little more mobility.

Yea, they took my I-Phone before I went in.  I kinda blacked out anyway.

Yea, that's no good. As a guy that had multiple surgeries on my foot, I know that surgery is no fun. And the rehab is worse.

Good luck.

Thanks my friend, I'll take all the prayers I can get.  Once the rehab is over I can at least pretend to keep up with Ben LL~.

That is true, this is either my 5 or 6th surgery on my knees (we've lost count).  It's the second on this one in two years.  The rehab is tough but it's going well and is worth it.

Bummer...
I know, I've had two of those in the past...a long time ago fortunately.  Racing motorcycles was fun (and even profitable sometimes) but the hospital time is a bummer!

Hang on and get well.

Thanks Randy, this is my 2nd replacement (I'm glade God only gave us 2 legs #^).  My history is football, Army, and 20 plus years at UPS.

Hey James, get well and take care of those knees.   As far as Ben, I think he will get lots of help with flying.

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers.  (Will) Funny you should post to not do too much too soon, I overdid yesterday and am paying the price for it today.
(Doc) Ben will get plenty of flying in, I meant maybe I'll actually be able to keep up with him, he started outrunning me a few years ago LL~.  Thankfully he inherited his Mom's knees and flexibility.

Thank You.  We will be there in August.  We are still planning on the Nats as well, but it may just be Ben flying, will have to see if ready at that point.

Hi James,

My prayers for your rapid and complete recovery.  I know about knee surgery, having had it back in the Dark Ages before there was arthoscopic stuff, etc..  Dr. said "Don't limp and you don't need crutches or a brace".  Played 10 days later between draining sessions.  Now I need a new one, too!  Just listen to the Doc, do what you are supposed to do and don't feel like you have to be 100% in two days..

Looks like we will flip a coin as to whether I get shoulder, neck or knee surgery first! HAHAHA

Best Wishes!
Bill

Bill,
It's funny how those days catch up with us.  The best one I can remember off the top of my head from f-ball was I was seeing triple and the coach told me to hit the guy in the middle #^.

Yes I should be flying by then, still hoping to be ready for the Nats.  We'll be there, Jim and Joann would ask for my hide if we didn't bring Ben y1.

I know you will keep after it.  You have no choice right?  You have our support.  Wishing you a speedy recovery and short rehab.

Thanks Doug.  You're right, I have no choice at this point, like we use to say in the Army "we're committed".  We will be at the Nats though.
