I am working a new bipe that will perform like a slob, but look like an airplane.
Called the "Vagabond" it has a larger wing with 34" span for better glide. The engine is inverted. It uses "Hobo" ribs.
I still have a lot of details to work out. I will make plans available when they are completed.

Oh good, I can use the rib templates I have. By the way Charlie Reeves was in town and flew my version of the Hobo. But the person who launched for him messed with needle and set it off rich. I won't mention his name as it wasn't me. I tried flying with that needle setting and it almost fell in on me doing/trying a verticle 8.

VagaSlob? ;D

Wayne,
Definitely not. Slob = Bum= Hobo= Vagrant= Wanderer= Vagabond
That's how I came up with the name.

Gotcha. y1

I was also considering the "Happy Wanderer" but Vagabond fits better.

You left out "lost" and "homeless". D>K
And "unfairly victimized by society".

"Domestically Challenged" but I wouldn't want to mask that off. ???

I like it, keep us posted. I would like to have a nice performing Bi-Plane. I have looked at "Bi-Ceps" and have the plans. Seems a little large!!

Progress on the Drawing.
A few more details to complete. I will probably have the elevator pushrod come out the side o the fuselage to allow for adjustment at the elevator horn. A slider horn could be used to adjust elevator travel, if desired.

Tom,
It's a nice design.
I'm looking forward to seeing the model completed.
