72 F, sun and wind at our backs,
« on: January 01, 2023, 12:49:05 PM »
Two of us flew this morning, at 10:00 AM. First flights of the new year. I put up one on a new Ringmaster and 2 on an older Cavalier. Ronnie Thomson put up three on his RT-1.  Our first flights showed we had not had a handle in our hands in some time. Seems it was way too cold or raining on the days we tried to go flying. Today , perfect y1 #^.

We got in a few flights today. About 60 degrees and 5-7 mph wind.  Really nice and almost unheard of here in the KC area in January.  There is usually a New Years snow storm.....  Can't complain today..

St Louis got up to 64 deg with light winds, all told the four of us put up 15 flights over a four hour time span.

My friend in Denver was not lucky (38 deg with snow on the ground)
