good friend José Roberto Cabella showed up last weekend at Ibirapuera field, in São Paulo, Brazil with his new ride
awesome finish and craftsmanship that deserves to be shown

plane is a brodak kit, all silkspan and lacquer paint. engine is fox 35 and yet to be maiden
unbeliveably light
classy choice of colors
tongue muffler will be used
i have seen the bare bones and was amazed of how clean hist woodwork is, not a drop of glue in sight and no pencil marks, all wood butt together and not a gap in sigth

Bill Werwage would be very proud of this rendition of his legendary model. I first saw Bill fly the Ares at the Willow Grove Nats in 1961. He won, of course...

This is an exceptional model and shows some very subtle touches. The man is an artist. I'll try to get a photo of this one off to Bill.
