For those of you who have not heard, on the last day of the Fly-In on June 18, John Brodak was inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame. #^ #^
With all he's done for the CL community, I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this most prestigious honor.
Congratulations!!!!!

Right ON. John has been and always will be a WINNER.
Congratulations Mr. Brodak. We were going to meet 1 on 1 this just-past event. Wifey fell around 1st of March and broke an ankle. It has been a time-craving period, especially with a almost 5 year-old grandaughter to squire around. Of course I loved every minute of it.
Now I plan to be in Muncie on Wed, the 13th, through Sunday the 17th. Staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Anderson if anyone is throwing a party! #^ %^@ LL~

John won the scale event and best finish. I talked to him at the nats, and he said it has been a good year. Could not have happen to a nicer Guy.

I don't think there could have been a better choice than John. He has been great for the C/L flyers and his annual event just gets better all the time........

More CL stuff available now than there every was. John has had a huge role in this. Doubt there ever was a bash like the Brodak Fest. Buzz and John insisting that it's held in their backyard, by the way. I can't think of a better testament to their desire to be welcoming hosts. Family. Our anachronistic hobby, mechanical on wires, a chunk of Norman Rockwell Americana, lives and breaths and is personal, amidst the glitz and high tech dehumanization of the contemporary. Thank you John and Buzz.

Well said, Dennis.
For anyone interested, here is the link to his scale win at Muncie.
