I had a very productive day... Got over to Jim's house and got a refresher on Ink Lines 101 the got a coat of clear on the Force. As I sat in the easy chair after I got home I noticed there was still lots of day light- light winds and no rain headed our way. I packed up my trusty stooge plane and headed in search of a empty field. My first choice had some dude and his gal practicing hitting softballs across my circle. (they had my field once before) Right next to that field are two very nicely groomed soccer fields. Not a soccer mom or kid in sight! It was around 6pm so everyone was out on a Saturday night.

Broke out the stooge and put in 4 flights. It is all coming back to me. I hit some very nice bottoms. (Why can't I do that on contest day???)
Any way to make a short story longer, as I was into flight #3 and doing the square eights one of those big mosquito looking bugs ( or something like it) flew right into my left ear. Talk about timing. It did not cause me problems but had I been on a down leg it might have. Was not a very good square eight either.
Never had that happen B4.
But what a long day... getting a plane almost done and putting it a few flights as the sun set. SWEET!
