A friend and I took out his son and another kid, ages 13 and 11, to fly for the first time.  I brought along 4 of my Minnie Delta trainers to be sure we wouldn't run out of planes...what a blast.  The older boy is catching on pretty well, the younger will need a little more handle time, but both are enthused.

I brought back 4 airplanes too!  Only used one all afternoon, multiple crashes, but the MD is a tough little plane. Very windy, really shouldn't have been flying but didn't want to disappoint the boys; they had a hard time handling the oscillating in the wind.  They were figuring it out toward the end.  Future sessions planned.  And they want to Build Their Own!
