Brett Buck, Seems that somewhere I read that you had found some problems with certain needle valve assay's setting up a "vibration" and causing some strange settings.
Would you please elaborate some on that and refresh my memory as to what caused it and what was done to correct it?
Thanks a lot, Gil Causey

Think I remember what Brett said... Pretty sure it was the Super Tigre needle will vibrate if the collar isn't tight enough.

Thanks Bob,
I thought that also, but with my memory, or lack of same, wasn't sure... ~>

Was part of a discussion on this the other day at the field. The suggested fix was tighten it down very tight - but still loose enough so one can adjust it albeit with some difficulty. From a very reputable source.

That's right, it was the ST. To give credit where credit is dues, Big Jim told Ted about it, and Ted mentioned it to me later. I have had a few cases where all that was necessary was to tighten it from "pretty tight" to "really tight" and it fixed some run issues. Making them as short as practical also helps.
The PA and RO-Jett are very similar but fit so much better you don't have this problem, and the OS is supported over most of its length so you don't have this problem.

Brett,
Speaking of needle valves, I recall you mentioning a tiny brush that fits inside the needle body and can be used to clean it out. We've been having lots of engine run problems recently due to crud in the fuel system, so I thought I would ask if you really said this, which means that my memory still works sometimes, and if so, who sells it?
Thanks,
