Hello:
I want to be able to contact all of the other club members at once via EMail.
Is the a way that I can list all of their e mail addresses in one place that ONLY they will receive my mail.
I am using Microsoft Vista and Yahoo Mail.
Any instructions as to how I may do this?
Tia,
Frank

Frank I have not used Windows in several years since I switched to Apple but....you should be able to set up a GROUP in Yahoo and send out e mails to the entire group at once if that is what you want to do. I know you can do it in G MAIL because I have done it...

Our club's web site is hosted on Homestead and one item I really like is the email service. You can create an email group with a single email address and all you then need to do is send an email to that one address and it will go out to the whole group. This is really great for a clubs as anyone in the club can send an email to the whole group without having to create a group on their computer or with their email service.

Frank,
I use Yahoo mail classic on a Vista PC, but the new Yahoo mail ought to be very similar. It should be as simple as opening the "contacts" tab in Yahoo mail, then select the "Add Category" box in the row just under the tabs. Call the new category whatever your club name is, then in the "View _____" drop down box at the left end of the same row, change back to "View All Contacts." Then start checking the contacts you want to add to your new category. As soon as you get more than one selected, one of the selections in the field just to the right will be "Add to Category." Finish checking all the contacts you want to add and then click the "add to Category" box. Once you get every member contact added to your new category, you can view your new category by selecting it in the "View ____" drop down box you used to view all your contacts. Click the check box at the top of the list to check all of the members at once, then in the field to the right, select "Send email." A new message will open up with all the members of your category pre-filled. It's harder to describe than it is to do.
Good luck!

Hi Gary:
Thank you so much for the help!
I do have a real problem:
I click on Yahoo Mail.
Click on contacts
That is as far as I can go! The ADD CONTACTS box does not appear! How can I get the ADD CONTACTS box to open?
I got a new file open and have named it in my list of contacts but I can not add any names to the new file.
Help please!
Tia,
Frank
