Need Help Finding a Post
« on: January 30, 2022, 11:13:21 PM »
I am trying to find a post I made late last year seeking information about wheel pants made from a rubber-like plastic.  I believe these wheel pants were (maybe still are) out of a Vector ARF kit.   I have searched on my name and get one page of 29 responses.  None of these responses are about wheel pants.  I don't believe the search is returning all of my post subjects.  Is there a search flag that sets a limit on the number of responses it will return by default?

In the previous request for help about these wheel pants I was requesting help on how to paint them and I thought I had the process figured out.  My attempt over the past two months has failed miserably.  I started masking the wheel pants to paint the colors and ended up peeling all of the base finish off back down to the bare pant material.  I was trying to locate my previous post to review the painting methods that were suggested.

Any suggestions on the search process or on painting these wheel pants?

Joe

The key with this search engine is to try to use search terms that you know are in the post and aren't commonly used (i.e., avoid 'the', 'and', 'engine', etc.).  "paint rubber wheel pants" got me this post of yours from November last year.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Joe,
 Go to your own profile and under "Summary" in the left hand corner of the page, click on "Show Posts". It should bring up all the posts you have made. At least it does for me. Hope this helps.

 Blessings;
   Larry
