Lew's Akromaster
« on: November 25, 2012, 08:53:27 AM »
Does anyone have a copy of the original article for Lew's Akromaster?  Looking to perhaps build this in an electric version.

Thanks.

The construction article is in the November 1974 issue of American Aricraft Modeler.

George,  I'm pretty sure I have it buried deep in my unorganized stacks of mags (going back to 1946).  Give me some time-I'll try to find it for you.

Lew's Akromaster is an excellent machine.  Richard Carville recently did an electric version, (see link below), also contact him directly (PM) for more info...

George

I do have an Akromaster and I can tell you it is a great flying plane. I built mine without the dihedral, but I'M
sure it flys both ways just fine.

When I ordered the plans from the AMA library the nice man there told me he could also copy and send the mag article as well.

The AMA will copy it for you or if you would like, contact me and I'll make a copy and send it to you

Dick

Lot's of great help guys - thanks.

I love Dick's electric version. Thanks for sharing that.

Now I have to finish building my Cardinal this winter so I can move on to the Akromaster or the Stiletto.  Decisions, decisions.
