All,
I am part way through building a 72" span B-25 and am looking for pics of the markings for the "screaming falcon" strafer - as this is the colour scheme I intend to use.
Does anyone have any leads - attached is a pic of what I am looking for (but more detail obviously)
I have googled, wikipedia'd and the like - but with no joy.......

Hmmmm.. only thing I can think of is maybe the.. Janes Books ... im sure they probably have a website. their books show many different versions..

Hi Wynn ,
Try this link out .
http://www.grafixnpix.com/wwii/5thaafp2.htm
It should give you an idea on what squadron and or bomb grouop you are looking for .
There are some photos showing the hawk's head(or whatever you wish to call it) .
Hope this helps .

Hey Wynn,
I bet that one is going to be pretty cool. Any photos to share?
Even if it's not complete, I'd love to see it. We all like them bones! #^

There's one at the Kalamazoo Air Museum.
These paint jobs were one-of-a-kind, so you may have to adapt to what you can fo-grap.

Wynn, Have you tried Bob Banka's scale documentation service? He has hundreds of documentation packs and there just may be one of these particular '25's in the list. I think you can find him with Google, if not, let me know and I'll dig around in my files for his (very) old catalog.
Blessings,
Will

Wynn,
PLEEEASE show us some pictures as you go, whatever you've got. I've ALWAYS wanted to do a B-25, but haven't, yet. It is definitely nearing the top of the to-do list though, and I'm doing more homework on it all the time. Mine will most likely be around 56"-60" for two .25's. I would really appreciate seeing and studying yours as you progress.
Thanks!

Wynn's away for a few days. Should be plenty of info to keep him busy by the time he gets back...

Wynn,
Have a look on Airliners.net or AIR-BRITAIN photographic images, or www.primeportal.net. Type in the aircraft your are looking for, and you can bet someone on this planet has posted a picture of it! There were 115 B25 images on AIR-BRITAIN!
Cheers Neville
