My current project may come to a screeching halt.
I need a 4 cell compact battery. RC Juice is out of stock.
Horizon Hobby has none.
Anyone have a source?
Thanks

Paul,
What mah capacity do you need? What ship size?

It’s a F-Twister. Not a lot of room.

It’s a compact battery.

Back in 2018 I Flew my F-twister on these for about a year. Cobra 2820/12. At about 75 cycles they starting to swell a little. Used about 85% which is too high but they are very close in size and cheap.
Looked up the order - $27.99. Now $33.99 in stock and next day delivery.

Thanks Ken
You think this one might work?
2200mAh 14.8V, 4S 50C
Found it on RCJuice.

The 50c might be a bit much. We really only use 20-30. More "C"'s more weight too. I just checked the Thunder Power 4s 2200 and the 4s 2800. Both are 102mm long. That is only 3mm. The 2200 was about the same price as the others but the 2800 was way up there. I switched to Thunder Power under severe peer pressure and have never looked back. I was using Zippy 5s 2700's and landing with about 10% - not so good. Switched to TP 5s 2800 and I am now averaging 30-35% and that is in calm air. I will leave the "why" to others.

Paul,
The Twister being a 48" span is good with an OS 20FP so my setup for a Ringmaster should work. I am flying a 33oz Ringmaster with a BadAss 2320 820kV motor on a Thunder Power 5S - 1350mah ProLite pack. I run an APCE P - 8 1/2x6 3/4 prop (cut down and pitched up APCE P 9x6) at 9650 rpm, on 60' FINS 40G 45LB Test (C to C) Spectra lines, 4.75 sec lap time. This setup save about 1 3/4oz over the commonly use 1800 - 2200 packs. The FINS 40G Spectra lines are very low drag and saved 4% battery capacity compared to 0.012" stainless steel cable that would be used with this size/wt ship. Other thing is this pack is only 70mm long so it fits right were the IC tank would fit.
One thing that is important is to keep the rpm around the 9600 mark as prop diameter and rpm are the biggest amp draw factors, that's why I needed to cut to 8 1/2" and increase the pitch to get the lap time. The diameter/rpm is a squared function on amp draw were as the pitch is linear, so you can add pitch with less impact then diameter/rpm.
