Title: Need a Cobra 3520/14
Post by: Ken Culbertson on March 21, 2020, 01:11:05 PM
It is possible that there simply are no electric motors looking for a new home but I thought I would check here before ordering a new one.

If anybody wants to part with a Cobra 3520/14 and/or 2820/12 and it is not abused or in need of bearings I would love to take it off of your hands for a fair price.  I specify those two because I have mounts on order that will fit them.  Other equivalent brands/sizes that will fit a Cobra front mount would also be considered.  If I can't find a used one I would rather find a new home for a NIB that one of our community has than order a new one.

I believe that most of the Cobra 28 series and 35 series share mounting holes at 25mm.

Nose around here and most show the x mount hole spacing.

You are right, the front mount is the same on both.  Different "X" but same spacing on mount.
So I can revise my request to any equivalent motor with a 25mm front mount.

Thanks - Ken

New Cobra motors are reasonable priced.  I am not sure I would fool with a used one.  https://innov8tivedesigns.com/

Normally I would but there is so much stuff being unused in the community that I thought I might take up some slack.  If there aren't any I will go new.  They are cheap for what they do.  The only parts that "wears out" are the bearings and they are easy to change.

I have what I think is a 3520/14. I don’t know, Ken, I send you stuff and you just burn it up.

Those Vortex Generators were so hot that the Fire Marshall thought they started it! LL~
If you have one, you have to let me pay you something for it.  No rush, I am collecting the parts for a fall project when "this" gets cleared and rebuilt  FYI, they survived the fire but were buried when the roof fell in on them in my office.

Oops. It’s not a Cobra. It’s an E-flite from which the label fell off. Never mind.
