Title: Need .46VF header
Post by: Shorts,David on August 18, 2020, 10:09:41 AM
Hi, Anyone have a header for a 46vf, preferably with at least a 1 inch rise. Randy doesn't have them anymore. I had it, I built the model, I removed it months ago when I was painting the model. And I'm starting to think I tossed it out just a couple weeks ago when I was cleaning in a hurry.

Craig, or anyone else,

Would you happen to have another? I just determined mine is only 3" and that is too short for my needs

Thanks

David,
I have ordered the Mac Thrust Line header from Mecoa, part no' 3523.

I am not 100% certain if it will do what I want but if you can wait a few weeks I will let you know.

Craig.

Try calling Jim Lee at Lee's Machine Shop. He may be able to help you.

Thanks to Craig for this info, but I got a macs header from Mecoa. It is the backwards rise from what we use, but flipped over with some grinding it fits and seals perfectly. I'd keep the info to myself in case I need another in the future, but, that'd just be rotten of me. I think it's the 3522 that is the upside down one I used.

You might try Dub Jett; he made me a rear exhaust header, not cheap, but at my age it will probably outlast me! D>K
