Dick,

I'm one of the few who still flies at Ned Brown.  What can we do for you?

    Best regards,

Does anyone know if there is still control line flying at Ned Brown field?   Are the Chicagoland Circle CUTTERS still around?

Yes, there is still some flying at Ned Brown. A few guys fly for fun, a few guys fly stunt in competition and some for fun. There are a few guys that fly combat for fun and in competition.

The club still exists, but there is very limited activity as far as that is concerned.

The field hasn't changed much over the years that I've flown out there, still three grass circles with paved center pads.

I was there about a month ago and it looked like no one has been there in years.  I met some really good guys there flying, Jordy, Mike, John and another guy that few a buster.  Some really great guys.  I am going to fly there next week and just wanted to make sure I didn't interfere with any club events.

I talked to Jordy and Chris G at our contest on Sunday.  They often have a group that flies on Wednesday afternoons.
