Title: Ned Brown Dec 26
Post by: dave siegler on December 27, 2006, 07:15:58 AM
I wend flying down a Neb brown while the rest of my famialy shopped nearby.  Temps in the 40's clear skys and 5-10 mph winds.

Lots of deer watching, they don't seem to mind the noise.

Sport flew an old skyray till I dropped my my starter on the wing tip... ~^

Also flew a combat plane.  Still learning how to use a bladder.  I can make it work when I have help but flying alone getting quick starts is hit or miss.  The cold didn't make it any easier.

After the sun went down, it was off for the best pizza in chicago (Gino's) only 2 minutes away.  A good time to defrost and refuel.

Hey Paul;

Knock it off with the asking where the snow is please. It is Dec.27th and it hasn't snowed here in Connecticut and thats the way we like it, not even a snow shower yet. HOORAY!!!!!!

The P-38 is underway now, waiting for the rib set from Blue Sky Models. Should arrive any day now.

Happy Hollidays buddy.

we got 14 inches early in December and everything shut down.

The last 2 weeks have been warm, in the 50's at times. it all melted.

The Cheezehead fly in is on my list,

What a great way to spend the day after Christmas!
Sounds like you had a good time.  I like that custom Stooge.  Does that work by pulling on the lines until the wing is out of the wrapper/holder?
What a cool idea. BW@

yes, it is just a chunk of carpet clamped in a workmate.  you give it a good pull and off you go...

I need to make something a little better though.  I am always fiddeling with it.

First order is to grow another hand so I can hold the plane, flip the prop and pinch the bladder all at the same time......
