Just thought I'd post some pics of my workshop in the new house in NC. It's about 90% complete. Far along enough that I'm making some headway on my Nobler kit. I'm hoping to have it in the air in 6 weeks or so. Sure looking forward to flying it in Carmichaels in June.

Oh sure, Sam, your workshop looks great now! Mine looked like that too when it was new! Now it looks like a goat blew up in there most of the time. I've contacted someone who lives near you to sneak in your workshop six months from now and take some pictures. We'll see how clean and orderly things look then!
Was over at John's today. Great weather! 48 degrees and sunny. Very little wind. Tom Hampshire was visiting and did some flying also. He offered a lot of really good tips and advice to those of us who were there. It was a good day.
Let us know when you might be back this way again. Will look forward to seeing you.

Hey Joe,
Great to hear from you. That's why I took a picture so I'll know what it used to look like. You saw my shop in Pa. I'm just a natural born slob and proud of it. Glad you got in some flying. We're schedulled to come up the weekend of 3/16. Hopefully we'll have some good weather. Who knows, I may have the Nobler---No that isn't happening. I'll let you know if our plans change. Have you seen Jack lately?
See you soon.

No wimpy Exacto knives for Sam.

Keith-You never know when you might need to cut down a cherry tree. (GW's B'day)
Dave-I haven't flown since I've been down here. I've talked with Keith Troxel and Andy Patterson but need a place to fly on a regular basis.

I think Don McGovern had the right idea when he said, " all you need to do is drop a new slab of blockboard over the rubbish on the bench and roll out the plans"!
Cheers from a very untidy modeller.

Hi Sam,
Looks great.
I am a little over an hour down South of you on US-1. My oldest son is in Sanford, and he doesn't have a permanent place to fly there....... yet. Looks like the R/C club there is going to allow a circle at their site. That will be a blessing! We do not have a dedicated site with in an hour and a half (Winston-Salem/Hobby Park) to two hours, plus (Huntersville), from me (and a good bit further from you! LOL!!). Makes flying tough at times. If the circle goes in at the R/C site near Sanford, it will be with in about 30 min. from us both.
