It was dead air the first round but after that there was a nice calm breeze. I think everyone was happy about that after yesterday.

Hi Randy,

The Fox being probably the longest running production engine in the World, and PA engines which have been OOP for a few years now................. still popular!

ALL PA engines are not out of production the Merlin 40 is till being made Randy

EDIT: HI Randy! I was only speaking to the .61, .65 and .75 that were used in the finals. Glad to hear the Merlin .40 is still in production! I, and many others, would LOVE to see the comeback of the "regular" (non Merlin) PAs like the .40, .51, .61, and .65, plus the Merlin .75!

If I am not mistaken, They both use eflite 32 and CC ESC.

Bob used an e-flite power 25 with a Castle 45 speed controler, Hubin FM9 flight manager timer system and a Hyperion 4s 4000 battery.

The Hellcat by Kaz is a really nice semi scale of the the Grumman F-6F. (The F-7F is the Tigercat twin.)

In response to Ty Marcucci's question, Bill Cummins won the Walker Cup in 1956, another Texan. George Aldrich told me Bill was the best pilot to ever pick up a handle, in his opinion. He was into all events, Speed, Combat and Stunt. I followed him around at contests in Baton Rouge and Longview. Unfortunately, he died in an industrial accident, I think it may have been in the Ford plant. dg
