NATS question
« on: July 29, 2012, 04:49:41 PM »
I looked for a good place to put this in the other NATS threads but couldnt really find a spot where it fit. Anyway heres the question:

If the time of the NATS is the same week as this year, I would turn 19 half way through the week. If we attended the NATS next year, and the NATS occurs that same week, would that qualify me as beig old enough to fly in open, or would I have to wait another year?

I don't know. Good question. I would guess it would go by what it says on your AMA Card, meaning you could still be a Senior but that is just a guess.

I know I am  going to come off gruff on this.  But, Matt, have you taken time to read the AMA entry form when you filled it out??   Or even your license application?   It has been this way ever since I can remember.   Still hope to meet you and your grand Dad one of these years. VD~

I probably have seen it, but ignored it since I filled it out when I knew I was still a Senior...

Matt,

Win Senior, and then win the Walker Trophy, it has been done several times in the past by Jr.s and Sr.s.  Ask Denny Adamisin!

Just get out there with Grandpa and have him coach you.  Several dozen gallons burned between then and now will help!  Shapes and BOTTOMS!
