Bright and early Tuesday, arriving sometime Saturday.
Derek I had planned to travel Friday (11 hours) but since this wind won't quit here in KC and can't get any practice I'll travel Thursday and will be found on Muncie grass Friday.
Dave
Yeah I know. I took this week off to practice and I'm sitting on my butt. Getting one or two in at sunrise then done. Derek leave that rain at home. See you on the grass.
Dave

My bass won't fit in the car. The amp really won't fit.
Howard is leaving for the Nat's Tuesday. He will stop be here and fly some. Then he will leave Wednesday without me. It just didn't work out. :(

Derek,
We are planning to arrive Saturday afternoon early. I won't be flying this year, the knee isn't ready, but Ben will be flying beginner Sunday.
James
Probably nothing that a couple dozen vortex generators won't fix. I'll bring a passel.
The Moon family Suburban will be blasting out of Big D about lunchtime
on Saturday, arriving in Muncie around lunchtime on Sunday.
Steve
Hopefully next year!

Did you repack the bearings on the Suburban?
19 hrs would be OK. It's the 32+ hrs that I can't do.
Hay Mike, I drove by the 12th Street Cafe today and they have a special, briskets & gravy $1.00. #^ #^ #^

Its a shame Walker cannot make it due to electrical gremilins.
Derek : Those VG's are to be used .. not admired.
Golly Randy, now ya make me feel guilty at not making the 2 1/2 hour drive this year! n~ n~ n~
I left Seattle 10:00am PST Tuesday plan to hit my room Saturday. I'm in Billings as I enjoy coffee. Is there any truth that the Nats will be in Tucson next year? Or was that Woodland ,California?
John
I miss the traveling Nats.
They just don't make "tough" JCT members any more!!! VD~
I remember driving my Ford Minivan through the heat with out air. I stopped for gasoline & it was hotter in the van than in the 98 degree heat. I bought a car in 2007 & wouldn't drive without air in that heat again,,I don't know how I used to survive.
Staying in South Dakota tonight ,,,, stopping in Peere S.D. to see the WW2 Monunent in the am then forward .
John
I'm in Mountain Home, ID. Car AC working fine at 104F outside air temperature. Hotel AC inadequate. They switched me to a different room, still inadequate. These rooms both had new air conditioners, which the desk cutie said don't work well. I relocated the temperature sensor, which had been installed adjacent to the coil. I am now cool as a cucumber.
Well, the plan didn't work out. Got a call from Howard yesterday at noon saying he wasn't stopping by on the way to Muncie.
Turns out he is a sissy. The AC in his Prius stopped working Tuesday morn and he took it in to be fixed before leaving.

I'll be makin' my 3 hr. drive to Muncie as soon as I sign out.It may be a short drivebut it AINT FAR ENOUGH FROM TOLEDO. Toledo is a turd in the punchbowl of life!!!!!
I'm in Cheyenne now. Here is the Jive Combat Team Transporter crossing Wyoming today, carrying the wardrobe, supplies for the West Coast Junior Varsity hospitality tent, the usual waxes and polishes, and crates and crates of vortex generators.
Hey Will, after seeing your post in the scale section, it dawned on me that 2 1/2 hours is a daily commute to and from work for some of us. LL~ LL~
Started looking to pull over around 11pm last night before nashville... tried 5 major exit ramps over the next few hours. Every hotel booked solid! Finally found a quality inn in Kentucky around 2am...the good nes is today will be a short 5hr drive.

Hi All,James.
Does anyone know if that's Kaz' own design Hellcat or if it's Pat Johnson's design that Randy Smith sells the plans for or what, and if/ where a plan is available from?
Thanks Much,
James Strickland
At least the previous one had a Yatsenko wing, if I remember right. Perhaps this one, too..? L
NO! This model, as well as as his first one, is his design and 100% moulded with his own mandrels. Six years of development and many thousands of dollars. He has been asked why he doesn't sell them. His answer; "Too expensive, you cannot afford."
