Title: Nats Betting Line....
Post by: Skip Chernoff on July 02, 2018, 07:27:19 PM
Who is your pick? Based on fine performances at Brodaks and Hazelton "Young Daniel" Banjock and his Raven look  like a solid pick to me. Hey.....the Eagles won the Super Bowl didn't they?  It's a Philly year.Go Danny!

Hmmm, even if some of the "Big Boys" are probably not going to be there due to the Worlds being close.  I would remind you that there is still a full slate of other "Big Boys" Like Walker, Buck, and the Guy in the Clown Suit, and a legion of other guys that follow close on their heels that I definitely would not bet against!  Bad Money!

I think Walker will likely make it 1 more Nationals win!  Uhhhh he already has a "few" to prove he is the BEST!  I happen to think he still is whenever he wants to be!

I'd love to see Young Daniel win.  But doubt it will happen.  He is having way too much fun to do that.  To win the Nats he'd have to give up the jet stunter, the Bi-Slobs, the giant Flite Streak, the formation flying with Mike, etc.  Now, we just couldn't have that, could we?

Frankly, we could use about two dozen more Dan Banjocks in this hobby!  When you figure out how to clone him, send one to us!

If Chris Cox shows, my money is on him - unless Paul gets fired up, then definitely, Paul.

Who are big shots who will be attending?
Brett informed me last week that he won't make it. Too bad, I'd definitely bet on him in the top five.
As it stands now, I'd go with David and Paul placing 1 and 2 (not necessarily in that order) with Howard placing third and Derek fourth

Randy,
I heard on good authority that Chris will show up.

Dan practices whenever weekend weather permits. He works weekdays. Weather this season not very cooperative. Our fields are challenging. A plus and a minus. Not much straight air that mimics most days on the L-Pad. On the other hand the often disruptive conditions help when challenging air happens at the Muncie fun fest.

No and yes, respectfully.  I'm loading the car as we speak.

   I am not.

Without disrespect to anyone involved, I have to figure David is the odds-on favorite. He's the king until someone deposes him and there is no one more competitive, I know from painful experience. Given an off day, there are a number of people that *could* win, but probably won't.

I know that won't stop anyone from trying. We shall see what happens come Friday!
