What will be the first day to practice?
When do we have to have plane judged for pretty paint?
Any other info for first NAT's will be helpful.
I looked on AMA web site but found no day to day info.
Went to PAMPA web site found info needed, any extra info will be helpful.
Solution to practice. I am joining the Skyliners c/l club. I will practice Sat and Sunday in south Indiana. Monday I will drive to Muncie and get ready. I already belong to Huntsville and Clanton clubs.

According to NATs management, there will be NO practice sites available at the NATs the weekend before the NATs starts. They are flying CL and RC Scale that weekend and all CL sites will either be in use (the McCool Racing circles for CL Scale) or in the overflight region (the L-Pad and the Speed circles for RC Scale).
Note: I didn't ask about any of the 600'x600' grass pad. There MIGHT be some circles available there: I just don't know.

I believe that the City of Muncie still maintains the circles in the park...on Monday there will be plenty of room at the Speed or Racing circles as well as the grass pad...
I would imagine that Paul will answer an e-mail if you choose...
Have fun!
BTW....even though it's all the rage, Ball State's various parking lots are NOT insured and there have been several complaints to the AMA about their use...some chose to ignore these warnings...

Monday there will be several racing events running on the McCool Racing pad and speed events on the speed circles. "Plenty of room" perhaps on the grass circles, but not on the speed or racing pads. But isn't the grass where Beginner and Intermediate stunt is run?
