I plan on getting to Muncie That Friday. Is anyone else gonna be there by then? Anyone gonna be flying on that friday?

Typically Friday is the first day we can use the grass circles for practice.  I and maybe a dozen others are usually there by then.  The LPad is off limits until Sunday evening due to RC Scale overflights.

Dad and I usually drive all night Friday and spend the next day or two recovering. This year we will probably get up around 2 or 3 in the AM and hit the road, that will put us there sometime Saturday afternoon. I will be happy to take a look at your flying as will just about everyone else there. What are you competing in Andrew?

 Stan & I will be getting in around 2PM Friday (7/11). We usually get settled in, hit the big W to get drinks, cooler & what ever else we need. Check in at AMA & be ready to fly on Saturday morning.

I plan to get into Muncie on Saturday.

I love hearing Derek whine about the drive - its the best part of my Nats preparation.. I have to stay awake for 20 + hours flying in a plane to get to a plane just to change to another plane, which flies me some more - all whilst changing time zones and trying to get a little bottle of coke open on a 3 x 3 " wide table, making sure not to bump the woman sleeping next to me! - just so I can then get my little plane out of its box and fly that myself !


Gene - 9 weeks ? Don't say it like that makes me feel rushed ! I prefer its months away... :)

Andrew,I'll probably be there Thursday afternoon.I will be judging on the scale circles Sat. and Sun. and flying every spare minute I aint judging.I'll be camping right at AMA.See ya there.Trax
