Title: Nat's prize winner
Post by: Leester on July 11, 2011, 07:15:37 PM
Last year I sold a Twister kit and was told by the buyer it was being donated to the beginners prize give away at the Nat's. I told him to save his money and I would get it to Allen Brickhaus, well better late than never ( I got my connections screwed up ) so it made it to this years Nat's. When I checked my mail tonight I received a Thank You card from very happy young flyer Ben Mills in Ozark Mo. and a fine picture.

Thanks to Allen and everyone who makes these events memorable for everyone.

Ben was very excited.  Thanks to you and all the other folks who donated prizes.  He's banging around Skyrays at the moment, but I will post some pictures when we do build it.

Leester: The unique irony of the ubiquitus "TWISTER" is that I won TWO at last year's NATS and have built one and am in the process of building the 2nd. Although I'm 68 years young with some modelling background I started my return to the competitive arena in REVERSE..building and "re-engineering" a CARDINAL (Arc) & VECTOR (Arc). The TWISTER as constantly suggested by ny mentor ...Allen Brickhaus..is where I should have started. Your gift in this case to young Ben Mills is a perfect start for him.  Thanx for your generosity!       Bill Allen
