I just wanted to start this thread as not to take away the from the other thread. Anyways, we are planning a trip on down to Nashville, TN this coming April. I was just wondering if by chance there are any hobby shops in Nashville that one could visit? I wouldn't mind hitting up a local to watch a bit of CL flying either if there is any around that would be accessible by transit as we will not be renting a car. As well, if anyone local would like to possibly meet up for a little chat if time permits somewhere that would also be nice. Not 100% sure of how long our stay is so more details would have to be figured out at a later date. Thank you.

2 hobby shops each about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville. Vivid is not worth the time as it caters to drones and cars. I don't think they even sell nitro fuel anymore. Family Hobbies is better. He has mostly RC planes/cars/boats but he does sell fuel and building supplies, covering, dope, wheels, tanks, k&s rack, adhesives, props and such. He does not stock any CL stuff but he does buy out estates from deceased modelers and I have found some real good stuff CL from time to time. He always has a nice tub of used engines that I've found Fox, Mcoy, OS and Enya's in. A lot of times the estate stuff isn't on the floor yet and he'll let me know there's CL stuff in back and root through it. The owner Billy is a nice guy but he stopped stocking new CL a long time ago. I use him mainly for hardware/spinners/wheels/props/epoxy/CA. Send me a PM when you confirm your plans, maybe we can hook up. http://www.vividaerialrc.com/ https://familyhobbies.net/
