I'm planning to attend the Brodak meet next year, followed by the NATS. My understanding is that both locations can accommodate RVs. Has anyone on here actually brought their RV to these events, and if so, what was your experience like?
The wife and I just got rid of an old motor home that couldn't be trusted much further than the end of the driveway. Our current rig is a 39' fifth wheel. We just took it from Florida to Maine and back and it performed quite well. I'm mostly concerned about the Brodak and NATS sites being big enough and firm enough for a large RV to get maneuvered into place and sit for a week without sinking to the axles.
If you have any experience with an RV at either of these sites, I'd like to hear about your stay.

I do not have a RV but have been to both sites. I drove a 18 wheeler for a while and know what I could do. I would say both sites yes. Hookups at AMA Yes, Brodak not sure

I parked a 30' 5th wheel at the Nats one year.  It is a first class setup. Solid paved gravel (no mud). Has a great bath house.  The hook up is electricity only.  They have water faucets every so often and a hoses that will reach to fill your tank.  They have a dumping station.  The price per night is very low for AMA members. Back then it was first come first served no reservations.  They also have tent camping sights.

Brodaks can accommodate your rig. Only thing is I dont think they have hook ups or a dump station. There are Porta Johns on site. The field is across the street from John's house. The only thing is it might get a little muddy if it rains.

I appreciate the input so far. It seems that both places will work as long as my holding tanks don't fill up.

I always found the grey water would fill up before the black water tank when we had a camper. 3-4 showers a day, dish water and hand washing along with toof brushing I guess.
Just glad we did not have a washer and dryer.   

Hope I see it parked across the street next year.

If you stay onsite at Brodak's you'll have to boondock it. There are several facilities nearby to park an RV or camper with utilities. I stayed at Jesse's RV space rentals with a 24' camper Jesse is  4 miles away,30 amp service,water(bring a pressure regulator) and sewer hookup.$150,checked in Monday checked out Saturday.

Having used both a 32 foot motorhome and 38 foot fifth wheel tou hauler at both Brodak and AMA HQ, I can tell you that both are good places to park...with reservations. At Brodak, one needs to arrive by Saturday afternoon to obtain a spot at the road.  Toward the rear of the lot, should it rain, you may get stuck.  Toward the street, pulling out is no problem even in the wettest weather.  At AMA HQ. there are mostly electric spots, full 20 to 50 amp.  There are 6 full hookups.  Reservations are accepted.  You can pull up to water to fill tanks and there is a dump site.  At both places, if you have large tanks with proper water management you will have no problem with two people for a week plus.  You can fill and dump at AMA but are on your own at Brodak.
