BOB & PEGGY PARKER UPDATE

Just a quick note to mention that BOB PARKER is home in Orting Wa. recovering from his HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY!
Also PEGGY is doing remarking well...and after talking with both of them for almost an hour this morning...Both Bob and Peggy hope to be well enough to travel to Tucson in Mid Janurary!
REALLY GREAT NEWS...... since IT'S BEEN ONE *ELL IN A HANDBASKET RIDE for both of them these past couple of years.

LONG GONE are the days that Bob could actually sit BUTT DOWN ON THE TARMAC...AND ACTUALLY FOLD NOT ONE BUT BOTH LEGS UP OVER AND BEHIND HIS HEAD! THEN WITH THAT PARKER GRIN ON HIS FACE....He would put both hands and arms down on the tarmac RAISE HIS BODY UP and proceed to ROCK BACK N' FORTH--n then WALK OFF ON HIS BLOODY PROP SLICED HANDS LEAVING A TRAIL OF HIS DNA ON THE TARMAC.with both those skinny legs still rapped tightly behind his head.
GADS! AFTER A FEW DRINKS...IN THE GOOD OL'  DAZE he once did that in an elevator on the way up to the 3rd floor...U SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE FOLKS EYEBALLS AND MOUTHS THAT WERE WIDE OPEN... THAT WERE WAITING TO GET ONTO THE ELEVATOR JUST AS THE DOOR WOULD OPEN!
Both Carol and I remember this----BUT BOB (FOR PEGGY'S SAKE) DOES NOT REMEMBER THESE KINDS OF THINGS FROM THOSE GOLDEN OLD DAZEDAYS!

Glad they are both doing well. Some of my favorite people from VSC times. Bob has a love of old engines like me, and Peggy is just a hoot. I love them both.
