Oft Opic...Cat related
« on: May 27, 2015, 10:13:15 PM »
Got a new cat (see picture). This was a surprise for the wife...she didn't want a cat or a dog, so when I saw this sucker in the Goodwill store in Albany, Oregon, I thought this would be fun. When I got home from Roseburg (NW CL Regionals), I told her that I got her a kitty, and my Aunt Ruth helped pick it out. Wife was pretty peeved, so it was fun. See the picture. After she calmed down, she decided that the new cat needed a name. We figured it was a male cat. We came up with a dozen names, but it's a tie between "Robin" (aka "Robin the Cookie Jar") or "Sherlock", as in "No Chit Sherlock". Any guidance out there?   LL~ Steve

My wife gave me a cold last weekend.  We haven't named it, either.

Eh, if you've already got it, you already had it. The extreme stress, wind, bad food, lack of sleep, etc., could have accelerated the landing. Two weeks incubation, they said.  LL~ Steve

spray it orange with dark brown stripes and name the cat "Garfield the Cookie Killer"  ;D.
The best thing is, you not have to feed or walk the cat  n1 and no expensive letters from the cat Doc too  HB~>.

Actually this cat would be a practical cat for Tucson.  The ones that walk around on four legs generally are not.  Eventually the critters get outside and wind up as "lunch" for the coyote packs that frequent the city.  Very disturbing listening to the wife cry for 3 or four days!

Might just get one of these cats for her!

I'm far less of a dog person than I was about a week ago.

Now if you'll excuse me, there's some mostly-rotton deer bits that I need to bury in the field again, only deeper this time.

For me, all cats are called "Kitty".  Much easier to remember, and our cat (actually named "Yowie") responds to my "Kitty".
89 years, but still going (sort of)
