Title: My wifes water color painting
Post by: Jim Kraft on May 06, 2008, 04:18:08 PM
My wife does water color, and this is a painting she did of her and I at a Wichita contest a few years ago. The picture she took it from was taken by the master photographer Elwyn Aud of Tulsa.

Very, very nice.

Here's a picture a friend of mine did for me.  I think it is a pre-cut kit of some kind; still, I appreciated it.

Jim,
You are one lucky man!! My wife would not get within 30yrds of our planes.

It is hard to paint people. Trees, and hills is all I could ever paint with water colors.

It is very nice.

Lova says thank you guys. Yes Paul; I am one lucky guy. She even launches my planes with Fox 59's, and Anderson Spitfires, both without mufflers and very loud, after plugging her ears. We will be celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary june 1st, and she still lets me dope my planes in the house.

Hummm? Although I am truly blessed....I still wonder what happened to the vows that my beloved wife took when we first got married waaaaaaaaaaaay back in 1970 and was living in Salem Oregon.

"LOVE ME...LOVE MY STINKY-NOISEY STUNT PLANES!" I guess I can't blame her too much by putting up with the constant trails of balsa shavings and balsa dust trails from the walkin closet to the bedroom. "AHH! THE MEMORIES THAT BED-ROOM and old walk-in closet make shift model shop...are truly VERY SPECIAL and many wonder things were created there.
As the song sings...."THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES....!"  "MY! OHHHH  MY!"

Elwyn; You captured the moment perfectly in your photo, as you seem to on so many. That one is one of my favorites. I do really like Magicians, and I really enjoyed flying that one.

Love to see others artwork, whether it be paintings, airbrush paintings, graphics, photography, I just love to see other peoples ideas and expresions of their vision,,

ok well heres a few of my things, some of the picts aren't really good, the P-38 is with an ancient digital camara and was pretty undersized so its not real clear. Its mixed media, the background is acrylics, the plane is with oils. My first attempt with oils.

The dog is my baby,, I did her portrait based on the photo, its done in colored pencils,, yeah I know but its an awesome medium to work in, you can blend them just like oils,,

the car is my sons Scion, not really a painting, but some of my art just the same
