My Two Challengers
« on: February 27, 2011, 02:49:34 PM »

My two "CHALLENGERS"  One is a 1971 Dodge Challenger 440 Six-Pak Show Car. The other Challenger is my new stunt ship that I will be flying this year.Powered
by Stalker 51. Geo Wing lost foam method. Back kinda reminds you of a Stilleto. Plane is apprx. 650 sq's.
Haven't flown since the 99 NATS and if you were there we were set up selling Kits and engines right in front of the fence. My wife was also selling for John Brodak.
Now that we have a new flying sight locally I hope to get back into contest flying. Planning on going back to Brodaks and get down to Huntersville this year also.
Maybe even make the King Orange Contest in Florida. My wife said O.K. as long as we also go  to Disney!!!!
Thanks to everyone who helped getting me flying again.

Bill   All of us from MCLS hope you make it to Huntersville. Stop and talk to me if you make it. You didn't mention where you are located.

The "Challengers" look excellent! C'mon out to NW CL Regionals in Eugene, Oregon. You can't visit the local Disney, but you'll get to see a lot of excellent parts of the USA, and you could go to the Evergreen Aviation Museum and send the wifey down the 747 waterslide until she can't take it no mo'....  LL~ Steve

I once owned a 70 Challenger R/T 383 Magnum/slapstick shifter. Far from a show car.

I love the plane. I once had a 70 'Cuda, but those days are gone.

Very Nice! I like both of the Challengers.   H^^  I used to have a 71 R/T Challenger with a 440 magnum (they come stock with 383 in R/T) , Line-loc, Fat M/T N50x15s & 4:56 posi gears  back in the days..  still love those cars.   :)

Bill

Thanks for answering my questions about what brand of camera that you shot those awesome models with. OUTSTANDING QUALITY SHOTS!

Compared to my new lack lusta' Lumix ZS5 that little Nikon Coolpix 6400 is an awesome tool and huge bang for the buck PLUS it also has a viewfinder.

Bill, great to hear you are back, look forward to seeing you at the local contests. I am going to try to make all the local contest before Brodaks, also will see you at Brodaks if you are going there as well. If I could figure out how to post pics I would send a copy of my Legacy, maybe soon.

Bill, I got a Legacy ARF for a practice plane, just have to get it together. Our new field should be ready soon for flying. Hope to have our first contest this summer. Dan Banjock said he'll be there. Me and John Saunders will be at the Lebanon Show selling some of our junk!!!! If your going we'll see you there.
