My trip out west

I have returned  back to the Las Vegas area. As most know my mom is battling cancer and loosing. The trip was made a little brighter by seeing some of the guys at the fields. The first Sunday Warren Spooner my Dad and myself went to the field which is over a hr away. Last year I sold Joey my #1 T-Bolt. while there I was flying it. I noticed it didn't fly the same? I told Joey to get a new set of lines and that we would make them 66 feet eye to eye. after measuring the old Line length it was 77 feet. still flew OK just a little slow.We had a few flights and then the gang went to breakfast. Picture included.



The next Sunday Joey Mathison our speed forum moderator came all the way out to get me and then a long drive home. Thats over 400 miles to take my flying. I thank you Joey!

i would do it again in a heartbeat, thanks sparky for taking some time to spend with us piddel fliers. if any of you out there are spending some time in vegas send me a pm we wil get you out to our field to fly with us .

Glad you and Dad could turn that bummer into a hummer, Robert! Its great to see you got to get some flying in with these guys! Looks like a good time was had by all.

I am sorry for what occasioned the trip, but I am glad you got to get together with some of the guys. I am sure they enjoyed it as much as you did and it gave them a chance to say "Thanks" for all you have done for them. (and the rest of us also)

Crist we fly on saturdays at sam boyd stadium the ball fields behind the stadium and on sunday we are at vo teck hi school both days we start at 7 am. however i will not be there dec. 1 and 2  going to whitter narrows for the toys for tots speed contest. the fellows will be there flying. if you need directions call me my work cell is 702 296 0947 we would love to have you out flying with us.   joey
