My old SIG Akrobat from 1989))))

Found this picture today of me out getting ready to fly my old SIG Akrobat. Bought the kit in St. Thomas V.I. and flew home with it between my knees.
Had some good times with that plane.
Not sure about my attire..and mullet....but it was the 80s.

Wow Shug,

The plane is great!  The mullet not so much... I am not going to even mention the pants.

Not to worry though there are some pretty bad pictures of me in the fam photo album of my 80's attire. Never did a mullet though.

How did the Akrobat fly? I have heard good things about it.  Another one of SIG's offering that fell to the wayside

The 80s were daunting....
It flew great but I had nothing to compare to at the time. Was just thrilled to fly a big cl plane!

Having a hotty pit for me was all about my outfit......

Pictures do bring back memories.   I would love to see some of myself back then than what I see now.   Over sized old man with baggy pants now.   Also I am a leg man and I do hope those are female.    The reason I say that is back in the day when I was single and doing the nightly drives thru the drive in restaurants(how many remember those) with the car hops I spotted a gorgeous figure with long blond hair and legs walking away from me.  Before I could say any thing I was told to wait til he turned around.   Yes, it was a he with a beard that was halfway down his chest.   I was also told I was not the first to make the early assumption.

By the way Shug, looks like you haven't changed much. H^^
