Title: My next project? Possibly a Bipe!.
Post by: Avaiojet on August 31, 2014, 08:13:02 AM
I'm so close to finishing two projects, Skyfall 007 Flite Streak and the P-40 Tomahawk, that I'm considering my next project. Always have that on my mind anyway.

I may just take the dust of this model and give it a whirl.

I have this option also.

If lucky, I might get a loop out of it? Would be nice for touch n go.

Big bipe, done up colorful it could be attractive.

Tried to sell it,  shipping is the killer.

So, maybe I should just convert it to CL and enjoy it?

I saw a version of the Stearman bipe(was in Model Aviation I think) by Don Hutchinson((??)  fly.  It did a very creditable job of the pattern, probably not up to top 5 at the NATS but very impressive to watch.

This was one of my more enjoyable builds:

John,

I like your Bipe.  Did you see Disney's 101 Ringmasters?

Phil,

This is the Sterling Stearman, designed for R/C but had some CL detail.
